Arlie Roger Sagraves, age 84, of Ware Road, Paris, Kentucky, widower of Wanda Fay Sagraves, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Arlie was born August 10, 1938, in Carter County, Kentucky.  He was the son of the late Arlie Hamilton Sagraves and Anna Elizabeth Mabry Sagraves.   In addition to his wife of 60 years, Wanda Fay Clevenger Sagraves, and his parents, he was preceded in death by one great grandson, Braylon Sagraves.

Arlie is survived by one son, Roger D. Sagraves (Beverly) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; one daughter, Lori Scott (Sam) of Cynthiana, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Travis Brumagen (Jennifer) of Paris, Kentucky, Brandon Sagraves (Jessica) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Austin Sagraves of Louisville, Kentucky, and Ty Scott of Paris, Kentucky; and seven great grandchildren, Karry, Katie and Kaleb Brumagen of Paris, Kentucky, and Shaylee, Shilah, Riley, and Reese Sagraves of Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

Other survivors include one sister, Toddy Caudill (Elwood) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one brother, Rex Sagraves (Teresa) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews and a friend, Ann Traylor of North Middletown, Kentucky.

Arlie was retired from IBM Corporation in Lexington, Kentucky.  He enjoyed farming, raising dogs and riding horses.  He was a loving Husband, Dad, Brother, Pa and Great Pa and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Cecil Curtis officiating.  Burial will follow in Beartown Cemetery in Elliott County.

Pallbearers will be Travis Brumagen, Brandon Sagraves, Austin Sagraves, Randy Caudill, Reggie Caudill, and Brad Kegley.  Honorary Pallbearers will be his great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

At the request of the family, all family and friends please wear masks during the visitation and funeral.
