Arley (Junior) Williams, age 81, of Norton, Ohio, a Rowan County native, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at the Magnolia Care Center in Wadsworth, Ohio. He was born August 3, 1926, at Cranston, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Henry and Ethel Stone Williams. He is survived by his wife, Emma Johnson Williams; one son, Jack Williams and wife Cara of Norton, Ohio; one daughter, Janet Williams of Norton, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Greg Williams and Lydia Williams. Other survivors include two sisters, Faye Evans of Morehead, Kentucky, and Ruth Plank of Clearwater, Florida. Mr. Williams retired from Firestone Tire in Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams-Plank Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Brown, Don Maher, Jim Maher, Eric Maher, Justin Maher, Greg Williams, Mark Esham, Kevin Estep, and Devin Estep.
