Arella Conn, age 85, formerly of Heritage Place, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at the Homestead Nursing Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born March 19, 1926, in Carter County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson (Pod) Conn and Nora Fraley Burns Conn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Rosella (Babe) Conn Fitzpatrick on May 5, 2008. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and other extended family members Arella was a graduate of Olive Hill High School. She had been a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and helping others, especially her friends at Heritage Place. She was a member of East End Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ray Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the Masters Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky.
