Ardith May Stephens Caudill, age 87, of Brown Ridge Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at her residence. She was born May 17, 1920, in Elliott County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late James O. and Grace Hampton Stephens. Her husband, Jeff B. Caudill, preceded her in death on January 17, 1990, and her son, Roger Dale Simmons in 2003. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Ison, and two brothers, Virgil Stephens and Elmer Stephens. She is survived by one sister, Beulah Johnson, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Caudill was a homemaker and a member of the Concord Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Billy T. Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Caudill Cemetery on Brown Ridge Road. Pallbearers will be Adam Kelley, Joey Barker, John Messer, Donnie Rigsby, Randy Sluss, Billy Conley, and Ernie Stephens.
