Arazona Trent Black, age 82, of Trent Ridge, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead surrounded by her family. Born January 14, 1932, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Jason and Edith Matthews Trent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ocie Black on January 4, 1989; a son, Edwin Black; and a great grandson, Mason Jett Ison. Mrs. Black is survived by three sons, Murvel Black, Virgil (Connie Sue) Black, and Lyndon (Sherry) Black, all of Morehead; four daughters, Wilda Crose of Morehead, Susan Black and special friend Ray McClurg of Clearfield, Violet (Arnold) Ison of Morehead, and Geneva (Daven) Young of Morehead; eleven grandchildren, Kayla Black, Ethan Black, Nathan Black, Sharon Miller, Ashley Fuoss, Josh Ison, Joseph Ison, Danielle Young, Steven Crose, Brandon Crose, and Joey Crose; and six great grandchildren. Other survivors include three brothers, Vircil Trent, Vernon Trent, and Virda Trent, all of Morehead; one sister, Christine Parsons of Sandy Hook; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arazona was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, and spending time with her family, especially cooking them Sunday dinner. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Larry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Trent - Black Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray McClurg, Ethan Black, Nathan Black, Joey Crose, Brandon Crose, and Steven Crose. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Fuoss, Ryan Miller, Josh Ison, Joseph Ison, and Jason Crose.
