April Marie Roark Ison, 36, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Born June 13, 1980, in Oxford, Ohio, she is the daughter of Lisa Latham Salmons of Morehead and the late William J. Roark. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Timothy Ison, of Morehead; two daughters, Alisa Roark (Eric) Shay of Salt Lick and Britnee Schweinzger of Covington; one son, Thomas Ison of Morehead; one granddaughter, Aliana Angel Shay; one brother, William Roark of Morehead; one sister, Amanda Jean Hawks of Huffman, Texas; and two nieces. April loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed. A private service will be held at a later date. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead is serving the family.
