Anthony Scott Leadingham, age 46, of Maher Drive, Morehead, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord along with his wife Kelly Dawn Stevens Leadingham on July 16, 2023.

He was born September 16, 1976, in Ashland, a son of Velton Leadingham and the late Glenda Sue Carter Leadingham.  Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Matthew Leadingham; maternal grandparents, Johnie and Martha Roe Carter; and paternal grandparents, Velton Eugene and Betty Lou Barker Leadingham.

Anthony is survived by his father, Velton Leadingham of Hickory, North Carolina; one daughter, Ashleigh Leadingham of Morehead; and three step sons, Daniel Bradley of Morehead, Austin Carter and Joshua Carter, both of Grayson.

Other survivors include one brother, Johnie Leadingham (Tabatha) of Winchester; one sister, Melinda Leadingham Dougherty (Steven) of Iron Station, North Carolina, four nieces, Savana Garris, Nevaeh Dillon, RaeLee Leadingham, and Kaelyn Leadingham; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; extended family, and friends.

Anthony was a former construction worker and enjoyed card games, fishing, horseback riding, and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered with love and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Burris Leadingham officiating.  Burial will follow in the John Carter Cemetery in Elliott County.

Pallbearers: Johnie Leadingham, Steven Dougherty, Greg Carter, Joseph Carter, Jason Carter, and Rodney Wagoner.  Honorary pallbearer: Trent Ison

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
