Anna Lee Steagall Sammons Seagraves, age 84, of Old U.S. 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at her residence.
Born September 9, 1937, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Steagall and Vera Christine Carter Stegall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Seagraves; one daughter, Esteline Sammons; two sons, William "Tom Jarvis and Dennis Jarvis; one brother, Phillip Ray Steagall; one sister, Ethel Mae Ingold; three grandchildren, Christy Dawn LeMaster, William "Willy" Jarvis, and Darra Michelle Brewster; and three great grandchildren, Charles "Charlie" Brewster, Zander Le'Chase Brewster, and Aaron Wyatt Vance.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Boggs and Tempie Tussey; one son, Terry Porter; and one daughter-in-law, Earlene Jarvis, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; special friends, Richard and Nadine Stallard and Nathan Eldridge, all of Olive Hill; and extended family and friends.
Anna was employed for 30 years at Ralco Sewing Industries in Olive Hill. She was a member of Christ Community Church and enjoyed attending church and going out to eat with family and church friends. She had a great memory, enjoyed talking about old times and having conversations with people she loved. Anna will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Bro. Marcus McCleese and Pastor Scott Caulley officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Stallard, Nathan Eldridge, and Carter McKamey.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
