Myrtle Anna Lea Kelly Jent, age 75, of Lower Licking Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at her residence. Born October 3, 1934, at Moon, Kentucky,in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Emerson and Nervie Blanton Kelly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Kelly. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Thomas Jent, whom she married August 22, 1953; one sister, Ineze Caudill of Morehead, Kentucky; one brother, Ollie Earl Kelly of Royal Oak, Michigan; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special great niece, Jamie Lea Catron of Morehead, Kentucky. Mrs. Jent was a supervisor at Cowden Manufacturing Co. for 39 - years, a homemaker, and a member of the Johnson First Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Wagoner and Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Slaty Point Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
