Obituary

Anna Louise Curtis Gray Hymes, age 64, of Rawcel Heights, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at her residence. Anna was born August 23, 1945, in Mt Sterling, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Shelt and Helen Sanders Curtis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Ray and Stanley Curtis. Survivors include one son, Darrell Gray, Sr., of Delaware, Ohio; two daughters, Angelina Gray of Morehead, Kentucky, and Denisha Gray of Hitchins, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Darrell, Jr., Jonathan, Justin, Gerrod, Joshua, and Jimmy Gray; and three great-grandchildren, Kaylee Grace, Hunter, and Keleigh Gray. Also surviving are three brothers, Harry Curtis of Columbus, Ohio, Charles Curtis of Frenchburg, Kentucky, and Shelton Wayne Curtis of Logan, Ohio; and three sisters, Jackie Curtis of Charleston, West Virginia, Marsheleen Kuno of Grove City, Ohio, and Brenda Joyce Wilson of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Anna was a former employee of The Morehead News. She loved playing her organ, crocheting, and collecting dolls. She also enjoyed listening to Ernie Haase & Signature Sound and the Gaithers. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating.
