Anna R. Flonta, 76, of Riverview Drive, West Liberty, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born February 8, 1940, in Betsy Layne, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Nannie Canterbury Fife. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Flonta in 2009, her son, John Anthony 'Tony' Flonta in 2016; and her sister, Mary Joseph in 2015. Mrs. Flonta is survived by six brothers and sisters, Sandi Lawson and Clyde Fife of West Liberty; Randall D. Fife of Hazel Green; Lucy Harper of Canyon Lake, Texas; Brenda Stackhouse of Belton, Missouri; and Barbara Johnson of Tavares, Florida; and two grandchilren. Anna was a devoted and loving family member, an avid reader, and an accomplished seamstress. She will be greatly missed. Family graveside services will be held in Floyd County at a later date.
