Anna Lois Crosthwaite, 87, of Morehead, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the Life Care Center of Morehead. Born January 6, 1928, at Yale in Menifee County, she was a daughter of the late Asa and Mary Johnson Crosthwaite. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Dexter Stinson, Elsie Fannin, and Lorene Marshall, and one brother, John Crosthwaite. Anna Lois is survived by one brother, Edward Crosthwaite of Dayton, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. Lois, a beautician, and her sister Dexter owned and operated Lois and Dexter Beauty Shop on Main Street for a number of years. A resident of the Life Care Center since 2008, Lois thoroughly enjoyed all the staff and other residents and especially enjoyed the many day-to-day activities provided. She was of the Church of God faith. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Don Mantooth officiating. Pallbearers: Brandon Kimbrell, Jamey Jessee, Dalton Jessee, Richie Caskey, Darryl Barker, and Gabe Brown.
