Anna Waltz Armstrong, age 63, of Primrose Drive, Morehead, took her last breath Earthside and woke up in Heaven pain free on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 3, 1961, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Anna was the daughter of the late Norman Waltz and Ida Delona Tackett Waltz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a very close friend, Brandon Butler, whom she considered like a son.

She is survived by her husband, Stefan Armstrong; a son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Kendra Armstrong of Morehead; and two treasured grandchildren, Zachary Armstrong and Khloe Armstrong, who were the light of her life.

Anna is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Randy Waltz (Cheri); her sisters, Bernice McCleese (Arthur) and Connie Kelly (Charlie), all of Morehead; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Known for her warmth, dedication, and boundless love, Anna was a supportive wife, a proud mother, and a deeply devoted "Nana Anna." She was currently a Secretary 4 for UK-St. Claire Hospice, where her compassion and kindness touched many. She was a former employee of McBrayer's 5 & 10, The Citizens Bank, Walmart, and Homer Gregory Company.

Anna found great joy in sewing, working in her flower beds, decorating, and spending time with family and friends. Anna will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Eddie Dennison and Chaplain Jesse Perry officiating.  Burial will follow in Armstrong Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rob Armstrong, Jeffrey Skeens, Eddie McCleese, Dewayne McCleese, Chris Waltz, Donnie Hall, Paul Thomas, and Justin Derrickson. Honorary pallbearers will be her extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to UK-St. Claire Hospice, 201 Lyons Avenue, Morehead, KY 40351, in Anna's memory.
