Angela Virginia "Angie" Barker Lytle, age 65, of KY Hwy 801 North, Morehead, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at her residence.

She was born July 3, 1957, in Morehead, a daughter of the late Cledith Raymond Barker and Mary Virginia Stevens Barker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Barker in 2013, and a brother-in-law, Larry Brandon in 2020.

Angie is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Lytle Thomas and husband David of Mt. Sterling; a son, Tommy Lytle and wife Lisa of Morehead; and seven grandchildren, Austin Lytle, Alexandria Lytle, Avery Lytle, Ashton Lytle, David Thomas, Danni Thomas, and Adaline Thomas.

Other survivors include two sisters, Pamela Brandon of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mary Lou DeHarte and husband John of Morehead; a sister-in-law, Marguerite Barker of Morehead; her best friend of 30 years, Barb Wade; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Angie was a special education teacher for the Menifee and Rowan County School Systems and retired in 2011. She loved her dog Toby and enjoyed spending time and playing with her grandchildren, crocheting, working Sudoku puzzles, reading and   loved making crafts.  Angie was a caring and loving person who will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Daniel Burch and Brother Rick Mattox officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stevens Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Tommy Lytle, Avery Lytle, David Thomas, John DeHarte, Wes Barker, and Austin Lytle.  Honorary pallbearers: David Thomas and Danni Thomas.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
