Andy Murrell Grantham, Jr., age 66, of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Born September 5, 1949, in Marvell, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Andy Murrell Grantham and Lethy Thompson Grantham Pattenden. Andy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dottie Millem Grantham; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Jeff Warren of Morehead and Andrea and John Nachtigal of Lexington; five grandchildren, Paisley, Shane, and Sierra Warren and John and Bennett Nachtigal; three great grandchildren, Rylen, Landyn, and Weston. Other survivors include six brothers and sisters, Sharon Loomis, Dianne Bentley, Ernestine Pirochta , William Grantham, Darla Bradley, and Barry Grantham, all of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. Andy proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 -1971 and graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. Prior to Andy and Dottie moving to Morehead in 2001, they resided in Lexington. Visitation is 5 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with a memorial service immediately following at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Full military honors will be presented by Morehead American Legion Post 126. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Corbie Ellington American Legion Post 126, P. O.
