Besides her parents, one sister, Dorothy Howlett, of Maui, Hawaii, preceded her in death. Her devoted husband of 49 years, Hulen Daugherty, passed away December 10, 1992. Mrs. Daugherty is survived by a loving family, including one daughter, Helen Hayes and husband Bob, and two grandchildren, Alison Hayes and Steven Hayes, all of Morehead; two brothers, Walter (Claire) Ferrell of Long Beach, California, and Larry (Lois) Ferrell of Mason, Ohio; five sisters, Thelma Hunt and Russie Moore, both of Sun City, Arizona, Florence Jones of Pikeville, Kathleen Hurley of Chicago, Illinois, and Barbara Jean (Denver) Hurley of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Loretta Daugherty Urdak, and one brother-in-law, James Arthur Daugherty, both of Columbus, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.
