Allen Ray Hanshel, age 47, of Rose Road, Clearfield, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born August 21, 1969, in Montgomery County, he is a son of Helen Harris Hanshel Donathan and husband James Donathan of Morehead and the late Sammy Hanshel, who passesd away May 3, 2010. A sister, Lisa Marie Hanshel McKenzie, also preceded him in death on April 3, 2016. In addition to his mother and stepfather, Allen is survived by one son, Bobby Allen Hanshel of Hillsboro; one brother, Kevin Joe Hanshel of Morehead; one stepsister, Trista Calton of Mt. Sterling; two nephews, Dalton McKenzie of Lexington and Justin McKenzie of Morehead; one niece, Teisha McKenzie of Morehead; extended family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Elijah Sexton officiating. Burial will follow at the Jennings Cemetery on Oak Grove Road, Morehead. Pallbearers: Dalton McKenzie, Doug Harris, James Donathan, Jordan Looney, Scott Harris, and Ronnie Harris. Visitation is 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
