Alice Elizabeth Gibbs Harris, age 79, of Maxey Flat Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born June 13, 1931, in Jeffersonville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Russell and Margaret Ann King Gibbs. Her husband, Oral Harris, preceded her in death on March 16, 2002. She is survived by three sons, Raymond Harris of Hillsboro, Kentucky, Robert Harris of Marion, Indiana, and Gary Harris of Clarksville, Tennessee; six grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and member of the Little Mary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Schuurman officiating. Burial will be in the Denton Cemetery in Hillsboro. Pallbearers will be Elbert Cox, Don Cox, Bud Cox, Mike Cox, Mike Casey, Roger Cox, Ralph Cox, Jeff Mabry, and Art Mabry.
