Alene Dye Moore, age 93, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born July 12, 1915, in Rowan County, Kentucky, to the late Jerry and Nellae Mae Howard Dye. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Rev. Billy Ray Owens and Robert Lee Owens. She is survived by four sons, Donald Owens and Douglas Owens both of Mansfield, Ohio, David Owens of Columbus, Ohio, and Mark Owens of Morehead, Kentucky; five daughters, Vivian Caudill of Carter County, Kentucky, Patty Jo Owens of Mansfield, Ohio, Margie Burgy of Morehead, Kentucky, Elaine Owens of Dayton, Ohio, and Sherry Adkins of Morehead, Kentucky; and one sister, Dorothy Montgomery of Bosie, Idaho.
