Obituary

Albert Morton Vise, age 85, of Vise Road, Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at his residence. Born December 3, 1928, in Fleming County, he was a son of the late Albert Shelton and Ettis Newman Vise. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Russell Vise and Riley Hendrix Vise; two sisters-in-law, Treda Parish Vise and Eula Vise; and two brothers-in-law, John Yarber and Ronnie Filson. Albert is survived by two brothers, Olen Newman Vise and William (Bill) Kenneth Vise, both of Hillsboro; three sisters, Nellie Rosaline Filson of Washington, Opal Marie Yarber of Batesville, Indiana, and Patty Ruth Eldridge of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews. Albert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a farmer and enjoyed spending time with his family. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Mike Vise officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers: Tim Vise, Anthony Vise, Kenny Vise, Mike Vise, Jack Vise, Brad Eldridge, Brent Eldridge, and Jeff Yarber. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
