Albert Lee Gibbs, age 66, of Maxey Flat Road, Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington. Born April 4, 1947, in Fleming County, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Albert is survived by two uncles, Jerry Gibbs of Lexington and Shirley Gibbs of Winchester, as well as many cousins. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Prince Cemetery with Elder Lonnie Gregory officiating. Military honors will be presented by Flemingsburg Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834 and American Legion Post No. 5.
