Alan Ray Manning, age 56, of Smallwood Road, Stanton, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at his residence. He was born March 29, 1962, in Campbellsville, and is the son of Kenneth Ray Manning and the late Betty Jean Hamilton Manning. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Booher. He is survived by his father and step mother, Kenneth Ray and Violet Manning of Campbellsville; one son, Alan Matthew Manning and wife Leigh of Nicholasville; two sisters, Medora Farmer and husband Rick, and Teresa Stidham and husband Shannon, all of Stanton; and one granddaughter, Alleigh M. Manning. He was a former cable technician and enjoyed flying, NASCAR, and U.K. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018, at Prince Cemetery in Elliottville with Bill Denk officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
