Adron Morris, age 73, of Pretty Ridge Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010, at his residence. Born May 15, 1937, in Morgan County, Kentucky, he was the son of Cleve and Eva Fraley Morris. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Morris, and three sisters, Effie Ginter, Christine Debord, and Bernice Johnson. Adron is survived by his wife, Josephine Brown Morris; three sons, Rick and Pam Brown, Rocky Morris, Dwayne and Shelly Morris, all of Morehead, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Heather Ray of Pikeville, Kentucky, Ashley and Brandyn Hale, Lexie Morris, and Autum Brown, all of Morehead, Kentucky, Nikki and Alan Scott and DeAnndra Napier, all of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and four great grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Steven Napier, Landon Hale, and Kandice Napier. He is also survived by two brothers, Eugene Morris of Morehead, Kentucky, and Edward Morris of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Adron was a logger and farmer. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Herbert D. Lewis and Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alan Peck, Alan Michael Peck, Jeff Spencer, Jack Withrow, James Armstrong, and Mike Conn.
