Adam Ray Holbrook, age 38, of CCC Trail, Morehead, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was born March 24, 1975, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of Roger Holbrook and the late Bonnie Lou Haney Collins. Adam is survived by his wife, Lori 'Christy' Pernell Holbrook; two sons and one daughter, Travis Ray Holbrook, Christopher Dale Pernell, and Katlyn Denise Holbrook, all of Morehead; his father and stepmother, Roger and Gail Holbrook of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Roger Holbrook, Jr. of Elliottville; one aunt, Connie Waddell and husband Raymond of Morehead; one niece; two nephews; extended family; and friends. Adam was a self-employed mechanic and enjoyed all types of outdoor activities. Most of all, he was a loving father and husband who enjoyed his family. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Daniel Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Pernell Cemetery on Brinegar Road. Pallbearers: Charles Ray Howard, Mike Clark, Brett Carter, Raymond Waddell, Jr., Danny Thornsberry, and Brian Butler.
