Ada Ruth Sabon Lewis Hughes, age 52, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, at her residence. Born December 23, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, she is the daughter of Betty Sabon of Morehead and the late Walter Mitchell Sabon. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two sons, William Allen Cox and Joseph Isaac Cox. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Devin Lewis and Levi Lewis, both of Clearfield; two daughters, Anastasha Lewis of Lexington and Twila Saylor and husband Dustin of Clearfield; and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Walter David Sabon and Fred Sabon, both of Morehead; three sisters, Angela Dillon of Morehead and Barbara McNeil and Christina Sabon, both of Pasadena, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Ada earned her B.A. degree from Morehead State University and was a former paralegal for various attorneys in the area. She enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, writing, especially poetry, and spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with a representative from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Cemetery, Trent Ridge Road, Morehead. Pallbearers will be Levi Lewis, Devin Lewis, Dustin Saylor, Jason Dillon, Shawn Dillon, Jon Mitchell, Joseph Wilson, and Matthew Sabon. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
