Ada Colley Burns, age 93, of Crestview Hill, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born September 9, 1918, in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Dee and Nancy Johnson Colley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Sada Wagoner, a sister, Ruby Colley, and three brothers, Russell, John and Sid Colley. Her husband of 70 years, Thomas Ralph Burns, whom she wed October 27, 1941, passed away November 26, 2011, and a daughter, Susan Jan Burns Fitch, on November 6, 1986. Mrs. Burns is survived by one daughter, Beverly Richey and husband Bob of Morehead, Kentucky, and Merritt Island, Florida; four grandchildren, Dan James, Tom James, Katie Fitch, and David Fitch; and five great grandchildren, Nicholas James, Nick Fleming, Haley James, Ava Fitch, and Kevin James. Mrs. Burns was a member of the Morehead United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2012, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jack Ellis officiating. Pallbearers: First Federal Savings and Loan Board of Directors, Truman Dehner, Dr. J. E. Duncan, Jonathan Stiles, Dr. Ralph Derrickson, Verlin Qualls, John P. Northcutt.
