Abigail Marie Volk, beloved 4-year-old daughter of Douglas Jennings Volk and Rebecca Andrea Cain Volk of Morehead, Kentucky, joined the Heavenly Angels on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Abby was the beloved granddaughter of Tim and Debbie Rowe Cain of Salyersville, Kentucky, and Reed and Sandy Wood Volk of Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born April 13, 2007, in Lexington, Kentucky, and was a preschool student at Lakeside Christian Academy in Morehead. She enjoyed singing, cooking, drawing and other types of art. A loving and delightful child, Abby brought joy to everyone who met her. She attended Crosspoint Church with her parents and had a heart for God. Visitation will be at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead after 10 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2011. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Daniel Lucas officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crosspoint Church, P. O. Box 26, Morehead, KY 40351.
