Obituary for Bobbie D. Wright

Bobbie D. Wright, age 88, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at his residence.

Born December 19, 1930, in Morehead, he was a son of the late Linville and Ninnie White Wright. Besides his parents, he was preceded by his loving wife, Avanell Mynhier Wright; a great granddaughter, Cassie Marie Owens; three brothers, Robert, Bill, and Warren Wright; and three sisters, Zola Maxine Watson, Norma Borgham, and Mae Ella Birmingham.

He is survived by four daughters, Beverly (Phil) Owens of Morehead, Robin Robinson, Jackye (Steven) Smedley, Tammy (Glenn) Catron, all of Clearfield; one son, Teddy (Susan) Wright of Clearfield; nine grandchildren, Phillip Owens, Christopher Owens, Joey Riddle, James Sexton, Valeri Jones, Bobi Conn, Roy Conn, Jason Wright, and Kyler Wright; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and expecting a great grandson in March.

Other survivors include one brother Clyde (Jeannie) Wright of Spring Arbor, Michigan; two sisters, Brenda (Russ) Southwell of Pleasant Lake, Michigan, and Virginia Ethel (John) Warner of Tipton, Michigan; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Gene Barker. He also leaves behind his special cat, Grandma Moses.

A special thanks to caregivers Valeri and John Jones, Connie Thompson, Joy Fairchild, Dena Jennings, Stephanie Hampton, Angel Wright and a special thank you to Anthony Cantrell.

Bobbie owned Wright’s Garage in Clearfield and worked many years for Lee Clay Products. He worked hard all of his life and leaves many memories with his family and friends. Bobbie was an avid UK fan, loved stock car racing and working on race cars.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Cecil Ison officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Jason Wright, Kyler Wright, Alan Owens, Roy Conn, John Jones and Clyde Royse.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
