Richard Albert Clark, age 79, of Sunset Road, Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling.
Born September 15, 1939, in Nepton, he was a son of the late William J. Clark and Anna Linville Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Claire, and a brother, George Clark.
Richard is survived by his wife of 29 years, Barbara Sloan Clark, whom he married April 13, 1990; two daughters, Dana Clark and Lori Clark, both of Fleming County; extended family members and many friends, including his wonderful church family.
He retired from Fleming Mason RECC after 41 years serving as a lineman and served six years in the U. S. Army National Guard. Richard was a member of Hillsboro Christian Church and enjoyed gardening, volunteering at the Hillsboro Area Food Pantry, and spending time with his church family.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2019, at Hillsboro Christian Church with Brother Jim Hamm and Brother Gerald Saunders officiating.
