Jeannie Marie (Kimmet) Smith

Jeannie Marie Smith, age 57, of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019, at her home.

Born February 13, 1962, in Bellevue, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Peter Kimmet and Lena Joyce Viars Kimmet.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, George Stephen Schiffer.

Jeannie is survived by one sister, Shawnee Grant of Clearfield; two brothers, Anthony Richard “Mad Dog” Kimmet of Globe and Martin Raymond Kimmet (Lesa) of Soldier; her loving companion, Tony Smith of Morehead; as well as extended family and friends.

Jeannie graduated from Bellevue High School in 1980 and was a Sterile Processing Department technician at St. Claire Regional Medical Center for 13 years. She was an avid U.K. basketball and football fan and enjoyed fishing and traveling.  Jeannie was of the Catholic faith and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Arturo Molina officiating.
