Hildreth "Faye" Wagoner Wituszynski

Hildreth "Faye" Wagoner Wituszynski, age 88, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019, at her home.

Born March 20, 1931, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late Alvia Lee and Lula Hall Wagoner. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Wagoner Smith and Ina Alberta Johnson; three brothers, Floyd William Wagoner, Scottie Wagoner, Richard Lee Wagoner; and one half-brother, Jesse Stout.

Faye is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward "Alex" Wituszynski, whom she married July 19, 1953; one sister, Marcella Fannin and husband Harold of Morehead; one brother, Ora Thomas Wagoner and wife Annie of Morehead; special niece, Janie Fannin Williams and her family of Morehead; several other nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Faye and Alex returned to Morehead in 2016 after residing most of their married life in Arizona and New York. Faye enjoyed all aspects of homemaking and was a wonderful cook and accomplished seamstress. She loved being with family and making new friends. In Tucson, Arizona, Faye taught line dancing and water aerobics and in Burnt Hills, New York, introduced quilting to many students in adult education classes. Always innovative and creative, Faye had one of her quilts displayed in the Smithsonian Institute. She was a Red Cross volunteer in New York, a former Red Hatter and enjoyed hiking and bowling. Faye was of the Catholic faith and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Arturo Molina officiating.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
