Georgia Sue Bolden Boggs, age 50, of Baltic Avenue, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at her home.
Born June 12, 1969, in Pikeville, she was a daughter of the late Millard Bolden and Georgia (McCoy) Bolden. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jennie Mae Bolden.
Georgia is survived by two daughters, Michelle Lesieur and Alicia Boggs, and one son, Billy Joe Ball, all of Morehead; former husband, Wesley Boggs of Clearfield; and four grandchildren, Prieston, whom she raised, Braydn, Mason, and Mia; and special friend, Dawn Robertson.
Other survivors include ten brothers, Danny, Darelle, Timmy, Mack, Leon, Melvin, Cleo, Donnie, Elven, and Junior Bolden; three sisters, Alice Askar, Phoebe Lenton, and Darlene Dye; and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
A restaurant manager for more than 20 years, Georgia had managed Hardee’s in Morehead, Paris, and Mount Sterling, as well as Burger King in Mount Sterling. She was a hard worker and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Carl Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
