Everett Campbell Obituary

Everett Eugene "Gene" Campbell, 88, of Dayton, OH., passed away on December 29, 2019, at Hospice of Dayton. 

 

He was born in 1931 in Morehead, Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Addie; 9 sisters; and 4 brothers. 

 

Gene is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, and his four children, Larry (Barb) Campbell of Callahan, Florida, Phyllis (Tom) Davis of Morehead, Kentucky, Brenda (Rick) Wise of Lexington, Kentucky, and Rick Campbell of Morehead, Kentucky.  He loved and enjoyed his 8 grandchildren, his 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

 

Gene was a long-time member of Greenview Calvary Tabernacle.  He worked at Pressworks, a tool and die shop in Michigan, and retired after 40 years.  He was an avid bowler, liked to garden and loved antique cars. 

 

Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Ln., Kettering, OH. with Pastor Tim Livingston officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. 

 

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, January 3, 2020 at Dillon Cemetery, 100 Dillon Cemetery Road, Morehead, KY 40351. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Gene's honor to Hospice of Dayton. https://www.hospiceofdayton.org/
