Estill Weaver Obituary

Estill Franklin Weaver, age 56, of Wallingford, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead. 

 

Born March 15, 1963, in Bowling Green, Ohio, he was the son of the late Estill Carl Weaver and Rosie Hattie Steagall Weaver. 

 

Frank is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ruby Hyatt Weaver; two sons, David Franklin (Kim) Weaver and Nathan James (Amber) Weaver of Wallingford; one daughter, Natalie Nicole (Denny) Bragg of Morehead; a special nephew, J. R. Johnson, who was raised as a son; and nine grandchildren:  Taylor, Brantley, Emma, Carly, Haylee, Jaxon, Lil Dave, Montana, and Kaylynn.

 

He is also survived by one brother, Jeffery Wilson (Jody) Weaver of Wallingford; two sisters, Carla (Myron “Bud”) Logan of Wallingford and Connie Lynn (Jonathan) Morse of Morehead; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family; and many friends. 

 

Frank graduated from Fleming County High School where he enjoyed playing basketball from elementary grades through high school.  Following graduation, he mastered many skills in the sawmill environment and was a well-known logger and lumberman. 

 

Frank loved to serve the Lord and as an active member of Charity Free Will Baptist Church supported different ministries within the church.  He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, church family and friends.  Frank appreciated the great outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He had a heart of gold and was a special friend and Big Brother to many.  He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered as a one-of-a-kind man. 

 

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Kidd and Pastor Mike Ishmael officiating.  Burial will follow in the Weaver Family Cemetery in Wallingford.

 

Pallbearers:  David Weaver, Nathan Weaver, Denny Bragg, Jeff Weaver, Marty Weaver, Ray Weaver, Matthew Bowman, and Steve Steagall.  Honorary pallbearers:  J. R. Johnson and Earl Kidd.

 

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
