Obituary

 

Chester Hitch, Jr. III, age 37, of KY 173 in Elliott County, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

 

C. J. was born September 27, 1982, in Rowan County, and is the son of Chester and Ava Sue Winkleman Hitch of Elliott County.

 

In addition to his parents, C. J. is survived by one brother, Wally Hitch and fiancée Kim Whisman of Salt Lick; one sister, Angie Sue Caudill of Bessemer, Alabama; two nieces, Rosie Caudill and Abbi (DJ) Johnson; one nephew, Rusty Caudill; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins; extended family and friends.

 

C. J. was a logger and enjoyed fishing, hunting, training horses, and visiting with family and friends. 

 

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Arnold Ison and Elder Clyde Mays, Jr., officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hitch Cemetery, KY 173, Elliott County.

 

Pallbearers will be Tony Hitch, Darrell Dewayne Hitch, David Hitch, Kevin Horton, Mike Hitch, and Greg Adkins.

 

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
