Warren Robert “Bobby” Dailey, age 80, of Mudsock Road, Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at his residence.
Born October 4, 1943, in Fleming County, he was the son of the late Robert Russell Dailey and Wilma Olive Ramey Dailey. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Thomas Dailey, Danny David “Dee” Dailey, John Dennis “Johnny” Dailey, and one sister, Rosemary Ishmael.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barb Ishmael Dailey, whom he married November 26, 1960; three sons, Robbie “Doodle” (Mollie) Dailey Jeffery Dailey, and Jason (Natalie) Dailey; one daughter, Carol (Billy) Hart, all of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
He is also survived by one sister, Roberta Evonne Vice of Flemingsburg; special friend, Savannah Mains of Fleming County; many nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends.
Bobby was a life-long farmer and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mowing the yard with his John Deere mower. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024, at Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Herbie Stallard officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Pallbearers: David Hamilton, Chucky Ramey, Jeffery Dailey, Dillion Dailey, Hookie Ishmael, and Corey Dailey. Honorary pallbearers: David Ramey, Jimmy Bradley, Sammy Miller, and Jack Anderson.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
